Big Brown Bat
Eptesicus fuscus

This is one of the house & building dwellers, and can live in buildings year-round. Mating occurs in the fall, and females produce one or two young in late May or early June. Summer maternity colonies may include a dozen and up to a hundred or so individuals. The roosting areas include: Chimneys, eves, walls, attics, and anywhere else they feel secure.

Please do not harm bats. They are very important to our ecosystem. They consume vast quantities of harmful insects during their evening foraging.
